Our caregiving services can be provided:

  • In your personal home or apartment.

  • Assisted living facility.

  • Are homecare services covered by health insurance or Medicare?

  • Health insurance and Medicare do not typically pay for in-home care services.

  • Compassionate Caregivers of Nevada can help with long-term care insurance if information is provided to help pay for your in-home care needs.

  • Can Compassionate Caregivers of Nevada administer medications?

  • Yes, under the guidance of our nurse practitioner, caregivers will be trained to assist with client medication reminders/administration according to their prescribed daily medication regimen. 

  • What kind of trainings do your caregivers receive?

  • Our caregivers are required to have at least 2 years of caregiving experience prior to hire.

  • All caregivers are required to complete a new hire orientation training.

  • Each staff member will undergo yearly continuing education courses.

  • Caregivers are all CPR and first aid certified.

  • What safety measures does Compassionate Caregivers of Nevada take to ensure that caregivers are healthy?

The caregivers:

  • Will be Tuberculosis tested yearly.

  • Must be cleared by physical exam.

  • Receive state and FBI background clearance prior to hire

  • Are required to follow CDC facial mask guidance and or mandates.

At Compassionate Caregiver of Nevada, we highly encourage our caregivers to be vaccinated. Compassionate Caregivers of Nevada will keep record of caregivers that are fully vaccinated.

  • Yes, Compassionate Caregivers of Nevada is licensed, bonded, and insured.

  • What is the cost for homecare services?

The cost of homecare services depends on several factors:

  • Number of care hours per week.

  • Level of home care services needed.

Our team will assess you or your loved ones’ situation and customize a care plan that is right for you.

  • How are invoices collected?

  • Weekly invoicing.

  • Automatic account withdrawal (discounts available).

  • Credit card or cash options.

  • Long term care insurance billing.
